Earlier this month, our team launched the Uplink Portal, including the Points and Referral Dashboard, empowering community members to earn points for their contributions to the Uplink network and ecosystem; Contributions such as referring new users and pre-registering your router. This system gives early adopters an opportunity to earn extra rewards for helping to build our network’s foundation.

Right now, you can be part of the beta version of our platform and track your points by simply signing up here. After the beta, we’re launching the official Uplink App which can be accessed from your desktop or smartphone! 

Pre-Registration — make an account and provide the location of the router you plan to make part of the Uplink network in the future.

Register / Validate your router — Once the Uplink App is released, you will be able to complete registration and validate your router's connection.

Top 4 ways to earn

1. Join the Uplink Coverage Map: Register your account on the explorer by creating an account, verifying your email, and logging in.
2. Pre-register a Router: Click “Pre-register a router” in the explorer, enter a name for your router, the type of residence, and the location where you plan to provide connectivity. (Tip: If you have 5+ routers, email us at hi [@] uplink.xyz for a template to make bulk registration easier.)
   • Note: Make sure the location is accurate, as you’ll need to validate it by connecting to that internet connection with the Uplink App.
3. Earn More Points through the Dashboard: You can earn additional points by completing simple tasks:
   • Register More Routers: Earn extra points for each router you pre-register. Make sure to list only those where you intend to provide connectivity, or your points may be removed later.
   • Connect Your Accounts: Link your Discord (and soon, your X) account for instant points. Our Discord community receives exclusive insights and information first! There will be more ways to earn each day through social activities and engaging with our accounts.
   • Follow Our Partners and Collaborators: By following our partners on their platforms and completing specific tasks, you’ll earn even more points!
4. Refer more users and routers to the Uplink network: share your unique referral code to start amplifying your points even further. 

Earn Big by Referring Friends or Businesses with Routers to Uplink 

If you don’t have multiple routers, you can still maximize your points by sharing your unique referral code found on your dashboard to friends or businesses you know with routers.

Here’s how referrals work for you:

For each person you refer, you’ll earn a percentage of all the points they and their referrals earn. This creates a multi-tiered reward system:

1. Direct Referrals: Earn a percentage of points from people you refer.
2. Indirect Referrals: Earn from the people they refer.
3. Third-Tier Referrals: Earn from those referred by your indirect referrals.

This referral program is exclusive to early adopters. The sooner you join, the greater your earning potential. These points will convert only once your referral is verified, meaning they must validate their router to be considered a verified and approved referral.

Here are some effective referral strategies we’ve seen from the Uplinker community:

• Send to friends and family via email or text.
• Create a video or explainer on “How to Pre-Register a Router on Uplink” and share it on platforms like YouTube, X, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn— make sure to tag us or use #UplinkConnects so we can reshare your content & help you with reach!
• Write a blog in your home language and share it with your local community. (Use our Media Kit for Uplink logos, our website, Litepaper, and more for content)
• Reach out to local businesses with routers. Help people understand how joining Uplink can improve their community’s connectivity and allow them to earn rewards, all at zero additional cost to them. Share your referral code in person, via email, or on LinkedIn—but please no spamming! A polite introduction to Uplink and decentralized connectivity can go a long way.
