Tech & Product Updates

Our team has been hard at work improving the Uplink Dashboard to make tracking rewards and engaging with the community more seamless than ever. Here are the updates we rolled out this month:

• Improved Web View: The Portal’s dashboard has been revamped to make navigation more intuitive, enhancing user experience across devices.
• New Mission Tracking Features: Users can now monitor progress in real-time and link their Discord to streamline earning points, ensuring they never miss a chance to collect rewards.
• SURGE Launch: We introduced SURGE to the Explorer map, enabling community members to deploy routers in specific high-demand areas for a limited time and earn 10x points. This feature amplifies connectivity where it’s needed most and incentivizes contributors supporting critical infrastructure for our partners, enterprise clients, and key industry players. SURGE is a key simulation of how our dual-economy ecosystem will operate as we expand and after our network is live.
• Uplink App Update: While there’s been a slight delay in the app launch, we’re using this time to incorporate exciting new features. The V2 of the Uplink App has been finalized, and our team previewed the MVP in November. We’re excited to share it with our community, starting with a small beta test group in early Q1 2025.

Community Initiatives

This month, we ventured into the NFT landscape with the launch of our first monthly Forge Quests on Galxe. This initiative offers opportunities to collect NFTs and unlock bonus rewards. Here’s how it works:

1. Complete missions to open mystery boxes.
2. Collect a full set of NFTs to use as your exclusive access key for next month’s Forge.
3. Participate in the Forge Quest to burn your NFTs into one mega NFT and gain entry to special bonus events.

• CoinDesk: Making Connectivity a Human Right Last month, Uplink CEO & Co-Founder Carlos Lei discussed our vision of making connectivity a human right with CoinDesk. • DePIN Day, Bangkok On November 15th, Uplink proudly served as the official partner and sponsor for Fluence’s DePIN Day in Bangkok. The event brought together leaders in the DePIN space to discuss the latest advancements and collaborations. We’re thrilled to support initiatives like these and look forward to recapping the state of DePIN in December. We’ll also be participating in another major event led by Fluence in early 2025, celebrating the leading DePIN projects in the crypto space.
