Florida, Shanghai, Silicon Valley, Portugal and Web3

Born in Houston and raised in South Florida, Claudia studied Chinese and Finance at Florida State University before heading to Shanghai to internationally launch a Chinese superapp.

In 2018, her journey down the Web3 rabbit hole began. Passionate about growing adoption and sparking curiosity, Claudia made history by securing the first-ever “no action” letter from the Texas Department of Banking for her Bitcoin ATM business. 

Simultaneously, she moved to Silicon Valley, where she helped lead a $10 million raise for a Web2 gaming platform with 1 Million daily active users. Partnering with Immutable, her team introduced digital assets as NFTs and successfully onboarded over 1 million new in-game wallets.

Her journey is a testament to adaptability, curiosity, and grit—traits that have defined her work ever since.

Leading with Purpose at Uplink

Claudia joined Uplink at a pivotal time. Fresh off a move to Portugal and embedded in the local crypto ecosystem, she was introduced to Co-Founder Carlos Lei—and the alignment was immediate. Both shared a desire to build a product that delivered real-world connectivity at scale and put community at the center.

Her mission at Uplink has been to “humanize the brand”—to make a complex and ambitious project feel intuitive, inclusive, and real.

Since joining the company, Claudia has led several major milestones in record time. Uplink’s $10M fundraise announcement lit up the industry and community, propelling early traction and visibility. Within two weeks of launch, the platform had surpassed 40,000 users. With the release of another product, the Uplink App, the team has onboarded over 2 million registered routers—all in under three months.

These aren’t just marketing wins—they’re community achievements, and Claudia is leading the force rallying both behind the scenes and in the spotlight.
